Commission Issues Notice Of Further Rulemaking Session In Utility Cybersecurity Practices

On February 14, 2024, the Leader of the Cybersecurity Reporting Workgroup (CSRWG) filed with the Commission a Petition for Rulemaking to adopt proposed changes to COMAR 20.06.

Any additional comments on the proposed regulations shall be e-filed by March 13, 2024. Comments should be addressed to Andrew S. Johnston, Executive Secretary, Maryland Public Service Commission, William Donald Schaefer Tower, 6 St. Paul Street, 16th Floor, Baltimore, Maryland 21202. The Administrative Docket number (RM76) must appear in the subject line of the cover letter.

The Commission also gives notice that it will conduct a rulemaking session on March 27, 2024, beginning 10 minutes after the conclusion of the Commission’s Administrative Meeting, which begins at 10:00 a.m., in the Frank O. Heintz Hearing Room, on the 16th Floor of the William Donald Schaefer Tower, 6 St. Paul Street, Baltimore, Maryland, to continue consideration of the proposed revisions in the above-captioned proceeding. If the Commission approves the proposed regulations for publication, they will be published in the Maryland Register for notice and comment.
