ConEd Issues Request for Proposals Re: Connected Energy Storage Systems

On May 22, 2026 Con Edison filed its 2026 request for proposals for scheduling and dispatch rights for distribution and transmission connected energy storage systems that will achieve commercial operation by the end of 2030.

Pursuant to its updated Implementation Plan for a Competitive Direct Procurement of Scheduling and Dispatch Rights from Qualified Energy Storage Systems, filed May 18, 2026, Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. has posted its 2026 Request for Proposals (PDF).

Con Edison held a webinar on the request for proposals on June 5, 2026 to discuss the request for proposal.
