Duquesne Light Default Supply Rate Falling 10%

Duquesne Light filed with the Pennsylvania PUC the default service supply rate for Medium Commercial & Industrial customers for the period September 1, 2024, through November 30, 2024.

The default service supply rate, or supply charge, reflects generation supply only, unlike the official Prices to Compare which also reflect transmission and the state tax adjustment surcharge. An official new PTC has not yet been posted.

The supply charge for Medium Commercial & Industrial customers (25-200 kW, Rate Schedules GS/GM and GMH) at Duquesne Light will be 6.7620¢/kWh for the period September 1, 2024, through November 30, 2024, about 11% lower than the current rate of 7.6110¢/kWh.
