Electric Utility Files Proposed POR Rates
On March 16, 2026, Eversource Energy (“Company”) filed its calculation of purchase of receivables (“POR”) discount rates by customer class with the Department of Public Utilities for an effective date of May 1, 2026.
On March 31, 2026 the Department issued a Notice of Filing and Request for Comments. The AGO’s comments were submitted in response to the Department’s notice for comments.
In its POR filing Eversource proposed the following POR discounts:
Eversource SCBPs (Applicable To All Territories) Current Proposed
Residential 1.55% 2.10%
Commercial 0.65% 0.58%
Industrial 0.41% 0.03%
