As background, in 2003, the BPU established the Office of Clean Energy to administer New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program (NJCEP), including several stakeholder groups to engage parties in NJCEP’s development and provide input to the BPU regarding the design, budgets, objectives, goals, administration, and evaluation of specific programs. The Energy Efficiency stakeholder group meets monthly to discuss issues related to energy efficiency programs and incentives.
