Eversource Files Electric Default Service Rates
Public Service Company of New Hampshire (Eversource) has filed new default service electric rates for the period February 1, 2026, through July 31, 2026.
In a cover letter Eversource summarizes its petition for the competitively procured default Energy Service (“ES”) rate proposed to begin on February 1, 2026.
“Consistent with the settlement agreement in Docket No. DE 17-113, and recent Commission orders issued in this docket and Docket No. DE 24-046, Eversource has procured ES supply for customers for the period from February 1, 2026 through July 31, 2026 through (1) a competitive solicitation for 50% of the small customer group with 50% of such load to be supplied through direct participation in the regional wholesale power markets, and (2) for the large customer group, 100% of the load that will be self-supplied through direct participation in the regional wholesale power markets.
The proposed fixed ES rate for the small customer group for the period of February 1, 2026, through July 31, 2026, is $0.11303 per kWh, representing less than a 1.0% increase over the current ES rate for the Small customer group of $0.11196 per kWh. For the large customer group, the proposed monthly rates are as follows:
