Harmful Massachusetts Retail Energy Legislation to Keep an Eye On

Massachusetts bill, H5151 entitled An Act Relative To Energy Affordability, Clean Power And Economic Competitiveness has been reported from the House Ways and Means Committee that would among other things allow individual towns and cities to ban individual residential electric choice.

Note that H.5151 serves as a substitute for H4744 which is pending a new draft that also contains a number of other harmful provisions to the retail energy markets.  Stay tuned!
