Koolbridge Energy Submits White Paper in Virtual Power Plant Proceeding
On July 27, 2026 residential electrical distribution technology developer Koolbridge Energy submitted as (comments a white paper) as “a technology-neutral framework for evaluating intelligent residential electrical distribution” in the VPP program.
Among other things the paper recommends that the New Jersey BPU “define VPP resource eligibility by measurable performance rather than by device category, and that it evaluate emerging whole-home coordination architectures through a limited, technology-neutral demonstration of approximately 50–100 homes within the Interim Program, with multiple qualified technology providers and independent measurement and verification.”
