Senate Joint Resolution 1 extends the deadline for the Delaware Sustainable Energy Utility (DESEU) to issue a report on net metering, to address issues such as cost burdens and cost shifting to non-solar customers, from December 31, 2024, to April 30, 2025.  

The final report by DESEU is due on April 30, 2025.  

As a reminder, this legislation was signed into law by Gov. Carney on February 14, 2025.
