MA DPU Files Supplemental Response To Utility Request For Information On Net Metering Credit Transfers

The Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities Commission filed a response to the utility’s supplemental request for information on net metering credit transfers.

For multiple reasons, it was foreseen by the Electric Distribution Companies (EDCs) in February 2024, when the DPU issued its Order on net metering regulations, that cross-EDC transfers of net metering credits could not be provided to the subset of eligible solar Host Customers sooner than April 1, 2025.
