Mark Your Calendars – Data Access Working Group
The next Illinois Data Access working group meeting scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT on March 20, 2025.
Previously a meeting was held on March 7, 2025.
As background, the ICC created this Data Access Working Group following a series of formal proceedings that considered issues related to the release of electric customers’ interval usage data and other billing data, particularly to retail electric suppliers and other entities (like brokers and demand response providers). Additionally, “There have also been instances where the Commission has decided that data access issues were outside the scope of particular Dockets, which relegated those issues to be addressed at a later time. In addition, the business and technology landscape has evolved, especially from the time the Commission considered Green Button Connect issues many years ago. In order to provide a forum to discuss data access via EDI, Green Button Connect, or other means, ICC Staff wants to explore the creation of a data access working group.”
