MD – BG&E – Incorrect Rejection Of The Final Invoice Is Resolved
We are writing to inform you that we have resolved the system issue causing the improper rejection of final charges on stopped accounts. Impacted accounts received a 008 rejection indicating charges were received outside the bill window when they were received on time.
We plan to issue a cancel and rebill for all impacted accounts today. Due to the volume of accounts, we expect this to be a multi-day effort where suppliers may receive the cancel and rebill on different days. Please note that a new billing window will be provided on the rebilled accounts. Any charges received after the new bill window closes will be correctly rejected as outside bill window and will need to be billed directly by the supplier.
