PSC Issues Order To Supplier Coalition Temporarily Suspending Effective Date Of Licensing Renewal Deadline
From the Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) Letter Order:
“{***} On December 17, 2024, the Commission issued “Notice of SB1 Supplier Licensing Expirations and Renewal Applications, and License Application Forms for Energy Vendors and Energy Salespersons”, in which it established, that the deadline for the first one-third of existing supplier licenses to renew their licenses shall be January 15, 2025.
On January 8, 2025, the Commission heard and took under advisement Item 11 from the Supplier Coalition (its Request to Modify and Clarify the Commission’s December 17, 2024 Supplier License Renewal Notice).
The Commission now suspends the January 15, 2025 effective date of the licensing renewal deadline for applicable retail suppliers until a further Notice or Order is issued by the Commission.”{***}
