ME PUC Approves Unitil’s 2024 Winter Cost Of Gas Filings
The Maine Public Utilities Commission issued an Order approving Northern Utilities d/b/a Unitil’s (Northern or the Company) proposed Cost of Gas Factor (CGF) Rates for the 2024 – 2025 Winter Period.
The order also approved the utility’s Residential Low-Income Program (RLIP) rate of $0.0016 per therm, a revised Re-entry rate of $0.0000, and Conversion rates $0.1912 per therm for low load-factor C&I customers and $0.3211 per therm for high load-factor Commercial and Industrial customers per therm, all based upon the revised calculations and costs presented in Northern’s October 4, 2024 and October 8, 2024 updates.
In addition, the Commission approves Northern’s proposed Environmental Response Cost Adjustment (ERCA) rate of $0.0016 per therm, Delivery Service Commercial and Industrial Administrative Fees and Charges, and Delivery Service Capacity Allocators, as filed on August 15, 2024. All rate schedules are approved for effect on November 1, 2024.
