Message Directed To Suppliers That Post Offers On PA PUC’s Shopping Websites
The Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission alerts electric and gas suppliers about changes to the online shopping website.
“We will soon be implementing some changes to the websites to enhance the user experience and assist in guiding shoppers to products that they may be interested in.
“These changes were the subject of the March 2025 CHARGE call (see the discussion re conditional offers on page 3 of this summary.”
“After considering the feedback we received, we have decided to continue to allow “new customer” conditional offers. However, we have been developing changes to the website to make these type of offers more visible and to allow filtering of such offers.”
A new filtering feature that will “go live” on January 20, 2026, will allow users to filter out offers restricted to “new customers only.”
