MI Solar for All  program posted an RFP on April 22, launching its Solar for Savings pilot grant initiative. 

 

The Michigan Solar for All program posted an RFP on April 22 thereby launching the Solar for Savings pilot grant initiative. Funding is available as follows:

 

  • Residential Rooftop Solar: $1 million available in awards up to $500,000; 
  • Residential-Serving Community Solar: $6.5 million available for one or more awards; 
  • Enabling Upgrades with Eligible Solar Project: $1 million available in awards up to $500,000 for projects associated with MI SFA residential rooftop solar or residential-serving community solar projects; and 
  • Associated Storage with Eligible Solar Project: $375,000 available for one or more awards for projects associated with MI SFA residential rooftop solar or residential-serving community solar projects. 

 

Applications will be reviewed in three rounds and proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis until funds run out, or by May 30, June 30, and July 30, respectively.
