The New England Electricity Restructuring Roundtable was held in Boston to explore trends shaping energy supply, market design, and customer engagement. 

Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey provided opening remarks that highlighted Massachusetts’s progress in clean energy. She referenced significant policy achievements, including reforms in siting and permitting, smart solar incentives, energy storage procurement, and over $220 million in ratepayer relief. However, Governor Healey expressed concern over federal cuts that threaten affordability, particularly in offshore wind. Governor Healey advocates for an “all-of-the-above” energy approach that combines offshore wind, solar, storage, natural gas, and advanced nuclear technologies.
