The New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission (PUC) issued a supplemental order of notice commencing the next phase of the proceeding and setting a hearing schedule. The new default service rates are effective August 1, 2025, and there is a hearing scheduled for August 28, 2025.

This next phase of the docket will consider whether: (1) Eversource’s purported $6.5 million Energy Service reconciliation balance “has been properly calculated, and/or properly attributed to individual Eversource customers and/or classes of Eversource customers”; (2) Eversource has derived an accurate, final calculation of the balance; (3) providing refunds or assessing costs to Eversource customers is appropriate; (4) “any Eversource shareholder responsibility… should be incurred”; and (5) “the resulting rates would be just and reasonable.”
