Nightpean Energy Solutions Seeks Option 2 REP License with PUCT
On October 9, 2026, Nightpean Energy Solutions LLC filed an application to become a Retail Energy Provider (REP) Option 2 provider in ERCOT.
An Option 2 Retail Electric Provider (REP) license in Texas is a certification from the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) that restricts the provider to serving large retail customers with a peak demand of 1 megawatt (MW) or larger.
To obtain an Option 2 certification from the Public Utilities Commission of Texas (PUCT) the applicant must file a signed, notarized affidavit from each contracted customer confirming they agree to receive service under this arrangement.
In the application Benjamin Snieckus is identified as the Chief Commercial Officer, Lucas Moeller as the Chief Operating Officer, Sujay Parikh as the General Counsel.
