PSC Filed Its Grid Flexibility Study Phase 1 Final Report
The New York Public Service Commission (NY PSC) filed its Grid Flexibility Study Phase 1 Final report – Vol. I.
The study (1) creates awareness of the untapped grid flexibility opportunity in New York; (2) develops realistic potential estimates that are based on observed program performance; (3) identifies grid flexibility programs with the largest and most cost-effective potential; and (4) produces actionable findings by directly relating the grid flexibility potential estimates to key activities.
Note that Volume II Technical Appendix “provides further detail on the modeling approach and assumptions underlying the analysis and the results of our stakeholder survey on barriers and solutions to grid flexibility deployment.”
