Oncor Seeks Approval of Single Unified Tracker for DCRG, TCOS and SRP

Oncor files with the Texas Public Utilities Commission an application for approval of a Single Unified Tracker Mechanism (“UTM”) under Section 36.216 of the Public Utility Regulatory Act.

Oncor in its filing states that “this UTM filing consolidates and includes updates to Oncor’s distribution cost recovery factor (“DCRF”), interim transmission cost of service (“TCOS”), and transmission cost recovery factor (“TCRFD, and the DCRF portion of this filing includes deferred distribution costs related to Oncor’s implementation of its Commission-approved System Resiliency Plan (“SRP”). For each of the DCRF, TCOS, and TCRF updates included in this UTM filing, Oncor followed the applicable Commission rules (16 Tex. Admin. Code (“TAC”) §§ 25.243, 25.192(h), and 25.193, respectively) and has Used the Commission’s established rate filing packages (“RFPs”), except for certain departures from those rules and RFPs as necessary to properly implement the requirements of PURA § 36.216(d). Oncor is also requesting recovery of deferred costs, including depreciation expense and carrying costs, associated with its T&D invested capital not currently reflected in Oncor’s rates for recovery as a regulatory asset pursuant to PURA § 36.216(d)(1).”
