Parties File Comments on Gas Utility’s Interruptible Service Pilot
Parties submitted comments on National Grid’s partially interruptible service class pilot proposal
NRG is generally supportive of NIMO’s pilot proposal. However, NRG opposes the post-pilot treatment proposed by NIMO and urges NIMO to treat these customers in accordance with the guidelines of the gas transportation operating manual.
Multiple Intervenors commented that a key concern is if the pilot program ends, whether after its initial two-year term or at a later point and National Grid lacks sufficient capacity to allow a participating customer to fully return to firm transportation service, it remains unclear how that customer would be accommodated.
