Pepco Directed to File Updated Cost Estimate to Implement Green Button Connect My Data
On July 15, 2026 the District of Columbia PSC issued order FC1130 – 825 directing Pepco to provide an updated cost estimate to implement Green Button Connect My Data (GBCMD) and other implementation measures and functions included in a Customer Impact Working Group report.
“The Commission needs to obtain updated cost information to adequately evaluate the feasibility of adopting GBCMD in the District,” the PSC said
“Pepco may file multiple detailed cost estimates, but at least one cost estimate must be for a commercially available Green Button-compliant software package (and any customization, as necessary),” the PSC directed
Pepco was directed to file a revised cost estimate within 60 days.
