PEPCO Filed Standard Offer Service Proposed Rates

On May 4, 2026, the Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia (“Commission”) gave notice that on March 2, 2026, the Potomac Electric Power Company (“Pepco”), as the Standard Offer Service (“SOS”) Administrator, filed its proposed retail rates including the administrative charges, for SOS for the period June 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027.

Pepco purchases generation for SOS customers through power supply contracts in an annual auction. The rates that Pepco filed with the Commission on March 2, 2026, reflect the prices in the power supply contracts awarded in the auctions held on December 8, 2025, and January 5, 2026. Pepco’s filing includes the retail rates for all the customer classes consisting of the components included in 15 District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (“DCMR”) § 4103.

Interested persons may file comments and reply comments on Pepco’s submission within seven (7) and twelve (12) calendar days, respectively, from March 4, 2026.
