The IPA hosted its first Power Hour of the year—Clean Energy Future for Public Schools: Benefits and Challenges.

A presentation and recording of the webinar are now available on the  IPA Events page.

This Power Hour webinar explored the Public Schools Category of the Illinois Shines program, while discussing the various challenges, solutions, and benefits of solar power for schools. Additionally, the webinar looked at how education plays a key role in driving the transition to a clean energy future. 85 registrants attended the webinar, which included presentations from Climate Jobs Illinois’ Campaign Mobilization Director Mia Korinke, Illinois Shines Senior Program Manager Audrey Steinbach, and member of the Illinois Federation of Teachers, educator Ryan Zaremba.
