Procurement Manager Approves Utility’s Standard Service Auction
On August 14, 2026 Connecticut PURA’s procurement manager approved the results of the latest United Illuminating Company (UI) standard service auction.
“Based on my approval of UI’s Standard Service and LRS recommendations, UI will proceed with the following information releases concerning Standard Service and LRS: on October 28, 2026, UI will publicly file: 1) the cumulative percentage of Standard Service load that has been awarded for each service term covered under this request for proposal (“RFP”), and 2) upon award of 100% of the load for a given service term, the names of all suppliers for that service term.
With respect to bid prices, UI will publicly file such confidential (redacted) bid information on January 12, 2027 (90 days from the bidding date).
