PSC Grants ESCO Extension to Respond to Show Cause Order

On August 26, 2026, the New York PSC granted Median Energy’s 30-day extension, until September 28, 0226, to respond to an order to show cause concerning alleged violations of the Uniform Business Practices.

The PSC rejected Median’s request for a 60-day extension, finding that its pending FOIL request did not justify additional time and that FOIL and enforcement proceedings are separate processes.
