PSC Order Directs Utilities to File Revised Electric Vehicle Phase II Offerings
The Public Service Commission of Maryland filed Order No. 92166 regarding the electric utilities proposed Electric Vehicle Phase II product offerings.
The Order introduction states that “in this Order, the Commission reviews the Phase II proposals offered by participating utilities, including comments in support of or in opposition to the proposals filed by interested parties, and determines the EV Phase II programs that provide the most benefit to customers and support Maryland’s policies in achieving its transportation electrification goals.”
The proposals submitted by each utility (BGE, PHI, Potomac Edison and SMECO) for Phase II are approved in part and denied in part. The Commission requests the Utilities to file revised program offerings consistent with the Commission’s decisions and modifications as described in the order, along with revised budgets to reflect those changes.
“Utilities are directed to file updated budgets reflecting the programs approved, modified, and disapproved in this Order, within 120 days.”
