PSE&G’s Rate Request Proceeding To Begin
The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities Issues An Order Suspending PSE&G’s Requested Rate Increase And Tariff Amendments Until May 29, 2024.
As reported previously, on December 29, 2023, Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) filed a petition seeking a $462 million net electric revenue increase. If approved as requested, the average residential customer using 1,000 kWh/month would see a $19.54 increase (9.49%) in their monthly bill effective January 29, 2024. PSE&G also requested a 10.4% allowed return on equity (ROE).
