Public Comment Hearings Set For Pepco’s Multi-Year Rate Case
Re: Potomac Electric Power Company’s Application for Adjustments to its Retail Rates for the Distribution of Electric Energy
The Maryland Public Service Commission will hold two public comment hearings on the three-year rate increase request filed in May 2023 by Potomac Electric Power Company (Pepco). The utility’s customers and other interested parties are welcome to take part in the hearings to be held in Prince George’s and Montgomery counties. The hearings will take place on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at Prince George’s Community College, Largo Campus, Kent Hall Administration Building, 301 Largo Road, and Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at the Silver Spring Civic Building at Veterans Plaza, 1 Veterans Place in Silver Spring. Each hearing will also have a virtual option for those unable to attend in person. To participate virtually, please sign up in advance to speak by sending an email to kimberly.schock@maryland.gov by noon on Friday, March 1 for the first hearing or by noon on Friday, March 22 for the second hearing.
