PUC Approved Gas Utilities’ COG Tariffs

On December 30, 2025 the Maine PUC approved Maine Natural Gas’ January 2026 Cost of Gas (COG) tariff.

On December 29, 2025 Bangor filed its January 2026 COG adjustment whereby the updated COG is $1.095; and the past gas cost adjustment is ($0.113) per therm.  

On December 30, 2025 the Maine PUC approved Bangor’s January 2026 COG tariff.

Gas supply costs compose a large portion of total utilities in Maine, costs which are recovered through a cost-of-gas-adjustment mechanism.
