PUC Cancels Four EGS Licenses For Failure To File Financial Collateral
In Pennsylvania, the PUC issued a final order cancelling the licenses of retail electric providers for failing to provide required financial security instruments.
“The Tentative Order has become Final by operation of law. The Electric Generation Supplier Licenses held by the companies listed in Table 2 – EGS License Cancellation are cancelled and shall be stricken from all active utility lists maintained by the Commission’s Bureau of Technical Utility Services and the Assessment Section of the Bureau of Administration, removed from the Commission’s website, and notifications be sent to all electric distribution companies in which the Electric Generation Suppliers are licensed to do business.”
