PULJ Issues Proposed Order In Investigation Of Purchased Gas Adjustment Charges Of UGI Utilities
From Maryland PSC Order:
[ *** ] ORDERED: (1) That the Actual Cost Adjustment credit factor of $0.4121 per thousand cubic feet calculated by Staff is hereby approved, and UGI Utilities, Inc. is directed to apply it to customer bills for the 12-month period effective December 2023.
(2) That this matter is hereby continued and that a further hearing shall be held prior to January 1, 2025.
(3) That the parties are directed to discuss a procedural schedule after the evidentiary hearing has been scheduled and file a proposed schedule with the Commission no later than September 27, 2024. In the event the parties cannot reach an agreement, each party shall file a proposed procedural schedule no later than September 27, 2024 for the Commission’s consideration.
(4) That this Proposed Order will become a final Order of the Commission on January 27, 2024, unless before that date an appeal is noted with the Commission by any party to this proceeding as provided in Section 3-113(d)(2) of the Public Utilities Article, or the Commission modifies or reverses the Proposed Order or initiates further proceedings in this matter as provided in Section 3-114(c)(2) of the Public Utilities Article.
