PURA Approved UI’s Revised Compliance Plan For Third Party Onboarding And Registration For Data Access

Dockets: 17-12-03RE02

In Connecticut at least 60 days in advance of any AMI meter deployment authorized pursuant to PURA’s January 1, 2024, decision, or coincident with the utility’s filing its next general rate proceeding, whichever occurs earlier, Eversource and UI must file their respective final AMI plans in this proceeding.

No later than 180 days after submission of a final AMI Plan, and every six months thereafter, the utilities must submit as compliance in this proceeding scorecards as outlined in the 1/3/24 decision.

By November 20, 2024, the utilities were required to jointly submit a report as compliance in this proceeding in which all available evidence is weighed before ultimately making an initial recommendation regarding whether an advanced TOU rate should be opt- in or opt-out.

No later than six months before AMI meter implementation, the utilities must file for PURA review and approval documentation outlining a preclearing and onboarding and registration process for third parties seeking to become eligible to receive customer data.

No later than three months before AMI meter implementation, the utilities must file for PURA review and approval in this proceeding a revised privacy policy consistent with the Utility Customer and Third-Party Data Access and Privacy Framework found in Appendix D of the 1/3/24 decision. The utilities must incorporate any other changes necessary in light of the final Green Button Connect Solution selected and any other changes made to the AMI implementation plan.
