PURA Files Interim Decision In Innovative Energy Solutions Program Cycle 01

Dockets: 22-08-07
Category: Connecticut

From Decision:

[ *** ] On June 4, June 7, and June 10, 2025, Tantalus Systems Inc. d/b/a Tantalus (Tantalus), GridEdge Networks Inc. (GridEdge), and Smarter Grid Solutions (SGS; collectively, Innovators), respectively, each submitted a motion (Motion Nos. 14, 15, and 16, respectively; collectively, Motions) to the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (Authority), requesting modifications to their standard form agreements (SFA) with The United Illuminating Company (UI). Based on additional discovery and in recognition of the first cycle of the Innovative Energy Solutions (IES) Program, the Authority approves the requested modifications to the SFAs. However, the Authority cautions innovators of projects selected for deployment in Phase 3, including Tantalus, GridEdge, and SGS, that the Authority may be less likely to approve such modifications as the IES Program matures.
