PURA Files Notice Of Hearing in Annual Review of the Rate Adjustment Mechanisms of United Illuminating Company

From the Hearing Noticehe the Connecticut Public Utility Authority (PURA) announces that it will hold an evidentiary hearing in the annual review of the rate adjustment mechanisms of the United Illuminating Company.

The hearing will be held at PURA’s offices, Ten Franklin Square, New Britain, Connecticut, on Thursday, May 30, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. to receive testimony and additional evidence regarding the prudency of the expenses and revenues included in the RAM Application and any related issues raised in responsive filings made by other Parties and Intervenors. In addition, the Authority may consider whether additional adjustments to the NBFMCC, TAC, SBC, and/or RDM may be necessary.2 The Authority may continue the hearing on Friday, May 31, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m. as deemed necessary.
