PURA Files Notice Of Technical Meeting In Innovative Energy Solutions Program Cycle 3

[ *** ] To facilitate the Authority’s review and selection of projects for deployment in IES Program Cycle 3, a Technical Meeting of the Authority commissioners and staff, Phase 2 Innovators, and Participants will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The purpose of the meeting is to: (1) discuss the projects submitted to the Authority by the Program Administrator, on behalf of the IAC, including the six projects recommended for deployment in IES Program Cycle 3; (2) hear presentations from Phase 2 Innovators, and (3) discuss any additional topics regarding IES Program implementation as deemed necessary by the Authority. 

The Technical Meeting will take place through remote access. Access instructions are set forth below.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

The Authority invites Phase 2 Innovators to provide presentations on their projects at the Technical Meeting. Such presentations should discuss: (1) how the Phase 2 Innovator’s electric grid modernization technologies, programs, products, and/or services can be tested with the goal of statewide deployment for the benefit of all ratepayers; (2) how their project will perform against each of the Prioritization and Selection Metrics in the Final Decision;2 and (3) the Phase 2 Innovator’s vision for scaling their project. See Final Decision, Att. B, p. 31. Phase 2 Innovators will be given approximately 25 minutes to present, including time for questions and answers.3 Generally, Phase 2 Innovators should keep their presentations to approximately 10 minutes, with the remaining time available for questions and answers. The Phase 2 Innovators must provide a list of presenters and an estimated time to present to the case coordinator, Laura Lupoli at laura.lupoli@ct.gov, by Friday, September 5, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. The Authority will then issue a meeting agenda. Any Phase 2 Innovators presenting at the Technical Meeting must file their presentations through the Authority’s web filing system and provide a copy to the Case Coordinator by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
