This meeting will focus on potential policy approaches. Your input is essential and will help guide the study. After the presentation concludes there will be an open comment period. Stakeholders can offer any relevant comments during this portion. Below are areas where NJBPU is seeking feedback, in particular:

    1. Are there other specific reform options the study should consider?
    2. What information would you need to see in the Phase 1 report to feel confident the right options are being considered?
    3. What criteria should NJBPU use or prioritize to evaluate whether a reform option is worth pursuing?
    4. Are there states or other jurisdictions whose approach to utility regulation you think New Jersey should study closely?

Data requests were sent to each of the utilities on June 11, 2026.

Full details are available in the Public Noticewhich was updated today to include the agenda.

The comment deadline for this matter is 5 p.m. ET on June 30.
