Renewable Energy Long-Term Plan Meeting Scheduled
The IPA announced that it was holding a virtual public hearings on Long-Term Plan scheduled for September 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. For meeting details see hearing notice.

The Illinois Power Agency (“IPA” or “Agency”) has released its draft 2026 Long-Term Renewable Resources Procurement Plan (“draft 2026 Long-Term Plan”) for public review and comment.
The draft 2026 Long-Term Plan details the goals and strategies for the IPA’s renewable energy programs and procurements, including program capacity and renewable energy credit pricing for the Illinois Shines and Illinois Solar for All Programs. The draft 2026 Long-Term Plan covers proposed renewable energy procurement and programmatic activities over the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 program years.
The IPA welcomes public comments on the draft 2026 Long-Term Plan.
Written comments are due on Monday, September 29. The Agency will also hold a virtual public hearing for the draft 2026 Long-Term Plan on Thursday, September 25.
