The Department of Energy (DOE) report to the state legislature on New Hampshire’s Renewable Portfolio Standard is due by November 1, 2025.
Among other things the DOE’s report must review:

- increasing the class requirements relative to classes I and II beyond 2025;
- the timeframe and manner for transitioning Class I and II sources from “new” to “existing” and any corresponding RPS adjustments;
- the benefits and risks of using multi-year purchase agreements for certificates, along with purchased power; and
- alternative compliance methods.
