Gov. Dan McKee and the Office of Energy Resources (OER) announced that $10 million in new funding has been made available for Clean Heat RI, the state’s heat pump incentive program. This round of funding “will prioritize support for moderate- and low-income households, helping more Rhode Islanders save on costs by transitioning to clean, energy-efficient electric cooling and heating.”

In addition, OER and the Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank are also accepting applications for the Energy Efficiency Revolving Loan Fund (EERLF).  These loan funds provide up to $600,000 in financing for “shovel-ready energy efficiency and renewable energy projects” sponsored by public and non-profit entities.
