Schedule Set In Unitil Purchase of Bangor

As background, Unitil agreed to purchase Bangor for $70.9 million in 07/24, and if approved, expects the deal to be completed by the end of Q1 2025. Bangor’s ~8,500 customers would represent an increase of a bit less than 25% for Unitil, which would also acquire ~350 miles of pipeline.

Procedural Order  (09/18/2024) – The order: (1) adopts a schedule through the 10/3/24 Oral Data Response date; (2) limits “the scope of the initial (September) technical conferences to non-GHG issues in the Company’s initial case”; and (3) presents “proposed modifications to the draft schedule for subsequent dates for parties’ review and comment at the initial technical conferences.”
