Texas PUC Approves POLRs and Voluntary REP Designation of REPs
The Texas Public Utilities Commission issues a Notice of Approval in Designation of Electric Providers of Last Resort for 2025 – 2026 Pursuant to Tex. Admin. Code §25.43 and Submission of LSP EFLs.
This Notice addresses the designation of electric providers of last resort (POLR) for the 2025 through 2026 term. The Commission designates as POLRs for the 2025 through 2026 term the large service providers (LSPs) and the voluntary retail electric providers (VREPs) listed in attachment 1 to Commission Staff’s recommendation on final disposition filed on September 18, 2024.
The Commission adopts TPUC Staff’s Final LSP List.

“The Commission designates the LSPs and VREPs listed in attachment 1 to Commission Staff’s recommendation on final disposition filed on September 18, 2024, as POLRs for the 2025 through 2026 term.
“The designated LSPs in each transmission and distribution utility service territory and customer class must file EFLs by December 18, 2024.”
