TPUC Issues Two Orders That Exclude Lubbock Retail Choice Customers From Uri Securitization Charges

The Texas PUC issued an order concluding that, under PURA § 39.151(j-1) and the Uri Debt Obligation Order, current and future end-use customers in Lubbock Power & Light (LP&L)’s service area will remain exempt from the assessment of Uri uplift charges upon the commencement of the City of Lubbock’s transition to retail competition.
