Two EGS Licenses Cancelled For Expired Financial Security

The Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission cancels two electric applications for expired financial security instruments.

Below are the EGS licenses that failed to provide the required approved financial securities.

The Tentative Order has become Final by operation of law. 

The Electric Generation Supplier Licenses held by the companies listed in Table 2 – EGS License Cancellation are cancelled and shall be stricken from all active utility lists maintained by the Commission’s Bureau of Technical Utility Services and the Assessment Section of the Bureau of Administration, removed from the Commission’s website, and notifications be sent to all electric distribution companies in which the Electric Generation Suppliers are licensed to do business. If the cancelled EGS licensees or any successors, applies in the future to provide electric generation supplier or natural gas supplier services in Pennsylvania, in any capacity, it must acknowledge this license revocation and provide information on the business controls it has in place to ensure compliance with the Code and the Commission’s orders and regulations.
