Short Description: On May 15, 2025, AEP Texas Inc. filed an interim true-up compliance filing concerning Rider SRC – System Restoration Charge Factors. The SRC rates are effective for bills rendered on and after May 30, 2025.

Long Description: AEP Texas Inc. filed for approval of updated SRC rates in accordance with the Financing Order on Thursday, May 15, 2025 in PUCT Docket No. 58113. Schedule SRC provides that the Commission will have 15 days after the date of the true-up filing to confirm the accuracy of the adjustment and any necessary corrections to the adjusted SRC Rates, due to any mathematical errors in the calculations, will be made in a future true-up proceeding. It is anticipated that the final rates will receive approval by the Commission in a future notice of approval filing. In its compliance filing, AEP Texas proposed SRC rates for its central division effective for bills rendered on and after May 30, 2025.
The Interim True-Up for the SRC rates allows AEP Texas – central division to true-up any over or under collections in order to pay the transition bonds pursuant to the financing order.
Additional Information: Effective date of the updated SRC Rates is May 30, 2025. The proposed SRC rates are attached.
