Utilities Submit Information On The Implementation Timeline For The Incorporation Of RRES Data Into Centralized Data Reporting Platform
Connecticut Public Utility Regulatory Authority (PURA) opened this annual proceeding to review key RRES program metrics, including deployed MW and low-and-moderate income customer participation, and to ensure the program is “on track to at least maintain historical deployment levels and to deliver a carbon free grid by 2040.” PURA will use this docket to set the RRES rates for 2024, any separate REC payments, and any fully non-bypassable charges for program applications received during the following calendar year, The docket is also used to evaluate the key data inputs, in addition to MW deployed, necessary to establish the annual RRES rate.
“The EDCs and DNV are currently working toward initial launch of the PURA Data Dashboard in January 2024 as most recently outlined in the Companies November 30, 2023, filing in compliance to Authority Ruling on Motion No. 16 in Docket No. 21-07-01. The 6-month timeline provided by DNV is expected to begin following completion of current PURA Data Dashboard development tasks and successful negotiation of a specific scope of work with DNV to include RRES program data in the Data Dashboard. These required activities are expected to be completed in early 2024.”
