On June 1st NYSEG-RGE filed its annual report relative to its long-term gas plan.

Among other thing identified in the report, NYSEG-RGE stated that they advanced implementation by designing programs, developing cost recovery approaches, and pursuing regulatory approvals for weatherization and hybrid heating electrification initiatives targeted for 2027 launch, while also analyzing incentive impacts on adoption, evaluating LMI and disadvantaged community needs, coordinating with NYSERDA programs, conducting customer outreach, and collecting data to inform future planning. These efforts support the six core decarbonization strategies of weatherization, electrification, industrial programs, utility thermal energy networks, renewable natural gas, hydrogen, and ongoing updates on non-pipe alternatives.
