Utility Files Proposed POR Rates
Excerpt from National Grid Cover Letter:
{***} “Pursuant to G.L. c. 164, § 1D, the Company’s tariffs M.D.P.U. Nos. 1420 and 1421, § 8B, as well as Purchase of Receivables, D.P.U. 10-53-A (2011), Massachusetts Electric Company and Nantucket Electric Company, each d/b/a National Grid (together, the “Company”), submit the following: (1) the standard complete billing percentages (“SCBPs”) for each Customer Class to be effective May 1, 2025 (see Attachments 1 through 4); (2) the status of the reconciliation of the under-recovery balance incurred through December 2023 that was approved to be charged to competitive suppliers from May 1, 2024 through April 30, 2025 (see Attachment 5); and (3) the final reconciliation of the net over-recovery balance incurred through December 2022 that was approved to be credited to competitive suppliers from May 1, 2023 through April 30, 2024 (see Attachment 6).
The proposed SCBPs for effect May 1, 2025, are as follows:
- Residential 2.68%
- Commercial 3.39%
- Industrial 1.02%
Pursuant to § 8B.2.a of the tariffs noted above, the Company also is providing the average historical payment periods for the POR Program that will be in place May 1, 2025. The POR payment periods are as follows: Residential 54 days; Commercial 54 days; and Industrial 47 days.” {***}
