Utility Files Proposed Temporary And Permanent Rates
Eversource filed its initial application petition for new temporary and permanent rates. A hearing is scheduled for June 26, 2025.
In its petition Eversource is seeking approval for permanent rates that will yield an annual increase of around $182 million in distribution revenues, a temporary increase in distribution revenues of $77 million, and approval of a four-year PBR plan. According to Eversource, the “proposed four-year PBR Plan is an alternative method of rate regulation that will promote long-term cost control and avoid the need for multiple, sequential base distribution rate proceedings, thereby stabilizing distribution rates for customers.”
